Fantastak, Europe's leading developer and manufacturer of glue dots and supplier of niche adhesive products based in Bradford, have seen some staff changes in 2016.
Geoff Rhodes has retired from his Buying and Warehouse Manager role, after being with the company for 11 years, and will now act as a consultant for all of Fantastak’s ISO requirements. June Merry has also retired from her role as General Sales Manager after working for Fantastak Ltd for 17 years. June was actually our first employee for Fantastak and we all wish her well in her retirement.
Wayne Cooper has successfully been recruited as Fantastak’s Buying and Warehouse Manager. Wayne comes from an engineering background but has worked in inventory and stock control for 20 years in the UK, Middle East and America, gaining his qualifications in inventory management and purchasing in 2001. This led him to his first role in purchasing in 2003 and he aims to complete his CipS Degree in the near future.
Wayne comments “I am looking forward to working with the great team here and to create a modern lean thinking inventory and purchasing department.” He enjoys working at Fantastak as “the people who work here are amazingly friendly.”
Gwen Collingridge has joined the team as Marketing Manager for the Fantastak Group, which include the Fantastak Ltd, Fantastak Retail and The Bugo brands. She brings over 16 years of marketing, communications and business development experience to the company and has worked in B2B, B2C, charity and public sectors and previously ran her own business for 4 years.
“I joined Fantastak as they really impressed me with their high manufacturing standards and customer service, also with their continual drive to produce innovative products for new and existing customers and markets.” Gwen explains.
Congratulations to Sarah Brunskill who has been promoted to Operations Manager of The Bugo - an innovative new product in bed bug and insect bite prevention. Sarah has been at Fantastak for 6 years and has worked in the sales, admin and accounts team – passing her AAT Diploma in Accounting in Dec 2015.
Sarah says: “Fantastak is such a great company to be a part of and I’m really happy to be working on such a unique product. We have already sold into the UK, Taiwan, USA and German markets, and I am now looking for distributors in other countries.”
We also wish Bryan Porter the best of luck in his new role. Bryan was Production Supervisor here at Fantastak for 8 years and was a model employee.
